About
"Ever tried, ever failed, no matter Try again, fail again, fail better." Samual Beckett from "Worstward Ho" I am a self taught photographer and have only come to serious photography since the advent of the digital age. Prior to that I was a watcher and keen admirer of photographs and photographers of various shapes and hues. My images are snapshots, or EyeBlinks as I call them, and I am more than happy to have them described as such. The works of Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau and Dorothea Lange are undeniable influences, though, I would like to think that my images are something of myself, my take on the randomness of life, with influences of some of the above and a host of others. In the masses of art produced every day it is difficult to create something unique. What is unique here is something outside of my control, a random moment in time different from any other and never to come around again, that I was privilaged to observe and record. I hope you enjoy the site and some of my "EyeBlinks" presented here. I work to the above motto and maybe you'll call by again, by which time, I might have failed a little better.
